09/20/06: SIRIUS ASTROLOGY GROUP MEETING

Third House:
Stephanie Clement led the group discussion. She presented George W. Bush's chart as an example. George W. Bush has a very strong 3rd house. The data is July 6, 1946, 7:26 am, New Haven, CT.
- Neptune, Jupiter, and the Moon are in the Third House. Neptune and Jupiter rule the Pisces Eighth House, and the Moon rules the Cancer Twelfth House.
- A “mystery chart” was presented by Stephanie. The chart has three planets in the Third. It also included Uranus and the North Node in the Eleventh House because they form a close trine to Jupiter.
- Then the solar arc, secondary progressed, and transiting positions were calculated for October 19, 2007. The mystery chart is the date mentioned in a British movie “Assassination of a President.”
- We then discussed all of the relevant aspects among the transits, limiting the discussion, for the most part, to the three Third House planets.
- Stephanie noted that while we could make dire predictions, there are no aspects to the natal Sun, which is the ruler of the Ascendant. Even the solar arc Sun is more than a degree away from exact.
* George Bush has a very strong 3rd house chart. Jupiter trine Uranus: Good Luck and great optimism. He may be more “hip” and optimistic than appears from his demeanor. He believes in the free enterprise system, believes in America. He believes that everything will just work out fine, which may be the Jupiter trine Uranus optimism. It may be his great optimism that gets him into trouble. He enjoys a pleasant life with time on his ranch, time to exercise, etc.
- Mercury in Leo is one of the worst place for Leo. The ability to connect can be very difficult. He wants to relate to most things personally but most things do not connect to all personally so he is not able to relate to things easily. He is personalizing everything. He is driven by his personal view.
- Sun and Saturn in the 12th house. He may be driven by a strong ethic that cannot tolerate what he sees as evil.
- Mercury conjunct Pluto and Conjunct the ascendant. He was brought up in a rich family. In a way, he has a very limited understanding of what is going on in the world. He did not travel very much so he was not exposed to global and foreign situations. The negative consequences are very costly.
- He was a successful governor because it is local. Perhaps even being governor was too broad and a mayor might suit him best.
- In Bush's chart, Mercury Pluto at Sun Mars, this is the person that is aggressive. Forceful intellect. He is pushing his vision his own way. Visionary following a dream (Mars at Neptune Pluto). Bush has a personal charisma.
* We also talked about the Local Space Map using Stephanie's chart: She used the Local space map to get the direction on where she should go. Stephanie used the Local space map based on where she lived. From there, she looked at the chart where the energy is going.
* We looked at Gina's chart. She too has a very strong 3rd house. Neptune is on the 3rd house cusp.
- Regulus - success conjunct Pluto.
- Mars at Saturn Neptune midpoint: Neptune is what we live for. The person is not able to enjoy superficial things.
- Neptune is on the 3rd house cusp in Libra, ruler of the 3rd is in the 5th therefore, she likes doing mystical thing with friends, with people and have fun with it.
- Moon is your need. You need to be doing something.
- Mercury Saturn Neptune. She seem to be incapable of not telling the truth. She always speak the truth, she speaks her mind. Mercury in Capricorn, objective and true. Neptune, social ideal.
- Neptune in Libra 29 degrees - finishing up, always felt like she is at the very end of the generation. Felt like she is just barely in that generation.
* David's chart: third house, Uranus in Gemini in the third house, he is an astrologer. Moon conjunct Mercury Uranus: Astrologer. Inherited a very quick mind.
- Isosceles trapezoid was also discussed: Moon trine Uranus, Saturn trine Mars all forming an Isosceles trapezoid. He likes to talk to people but he would prefer to be away from people and do his own thing. He likes solitude.
- Mutual reception and Rx allows you to go back.
- Whole life is centered around very abstract things.
- Moon in Gemini, the feeling function has to come out through an air sign. They will not do anything once or twice.
- Third house: neighborhood and short trips, siblings,
- Younger sibling is in the 3rd, the older sibling is in the 11th.
