08/16/06: SIRIUS ASTROLOGY GROUP MEETING
* Minutes of the meeting, subject: Fourth House
Meeting started at 7:11pm
Sophia leads the group. Sophia introduced herself. She used to work with Joyce Jensen who used to have an astrology school in Arizona. She taught psychological astrology and she is very involved and interested in Jungian astrology. She now lives in Live Oak, FL
Everyone gave short introductions to themselves.
Announcements of the upcoming seminars at Avalon by Alexander Imsiragic and Bill Johnston were made. Information about Alexandar's school in Belgrade and Bill Johnston's work in astrology were discussed. Robert Schmidt, the developer and translator of much of the Hellenistic astrological information does not have a strong background in many astrological techniques, and Bill Johnston, who is part of the group working on the Hellenistic material with Robert Schmidt, has worked in the field of astrology and can communicate Hellenistic techniques to astrologers very well. Schmidt's interest is more philosophical.
* Fourth House: Home, the basement of the astrology chart. The gene pool according to Frances.

4th house is the basement, the foundation, and has to do with inner private soul of the person as supposed to the public person. It is their personal domain. If an asteroid aspects the 4th house cusp, it it affects the gene pool, such as, for example, showing up as a handicap or defect.. If you know the asteroid affecting that cusp, you will see the problem of that person.
The 4th house is about sorting out core beliefs out of the 4th house. Foundation that we truly believe.
4th house is related to the ancestral pattern of the person.
Gina felt at home in Scotland and her family is from there. Robert talks about the 4th house as being related to the earth.
Where you are born, you feel at home. Sophia has a 4th house ancestry experience when she moved to Live Oak florida. Gina felt the same way in Scotland.
Stuart's chart has Moon in the 4th house, has Uranus on the 4th house cusp. He feels both Uranus and Moon the most. Uranus makes him feel crazy. He moved around a lot. That is Uranus 4th house cusp. When he was growing up, he moved 3 times until he went off to college. He moved so much because of his job. Moon is opposite Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury and square Neptune. Moves are not sudden upset to him. All moves are job related. He stays where to work brings him to. His moves were exciting to him when he was younger.
Uranus rules astrology. 4th house is not an specially conscious house. It is like the Moon in being instinctive. It is an immersion kind of things. We are not conscious enough about our home.
Stuart has North Node involved, and connected by Karmic connection with Uranus to Gainesville.
The closest square drive the chart according to some astrologesr. It that is true, what drives Stuart is his psychic senses because of his Neptune squares.
Mercury and Uranus are in quindecile aspect (165 degrees). He is very determined and will not let go. Uranus us very close to his gene pool, so he is determined to learni astrology. It is very important and will not let go. 165 degree is the degree of determination. It is quenducile.
It also comes very close to the 1st house cusp. Mercury Uranus rules cosmobiology.
- Mercury Uranus is fascinated with cosmobiology. Frances has the same aspect and she is very fascinated with it.
- 4th ancestral. What is in your blood is usually taken for granted. Very ancestral oriented person. Somebody who follows their ancestral.
- Uranus is very shallow, does not go back many generation. Something systematic with Uranus in the 4th house. Very ancestral 9not logical because they are working from instinct. Not objective about it,
- Moon in 4th house represents an ancestral heritage. When Uranus is in the 4th house, it breaks the ancestral heritage. The person may long for heritage later in his life.
- Uranus on the 4th cusp: they are the black sheep, the deviant, and they are likely to leave the family traditions..
- Sophia's chart has Sag on the 4th house cusp, Jupiter in the 4th house. Likes big room, big things, etc. Jupiter unaspected. Always has been the black sheep in the family. She is always into things of different interest. She always moved but considers Florida as her home.
- Sun square Uranus, Venus conjuct Pluto. Needing to be in love, likes being in love.
- Jupiter in the 4th house feels supported to be the messenger. Jupiter on the 4th house, loves to travel domestically, not outside the country.
- 1st degree os the sign is very strong. Strong Libra. Sun in Libra 0 degree in the first house. Has an extreme issue going on. Wants the truth, nobody is going to disrespect anyone, all equal. Intense strong theme the more you are doing all of these and doing it in a kind way to create equality, respect, dignity and appreciation is a theme of her life. The throat is where power is expressed. It would be difficult not to have a throat problem but because she has so many things that need to be expressed. It is not easy thing to do but she will continue to try to do it. Because Jupiter in Sag in the 4th house, although it appears that the family does not like her independence, she will be the hero. 30 degrees also means father figure who is looking after the person. Chiron 21 degrees in Scorpio. The father is giving her voice. Father very sorrowful about the brother so Chiron is helping her go through the brother's problem to get things straightened out.
